Yep, it’s me!
It’s a much better morning this morning! I keep trying to change things, but I guess there are things I just can’t change no matter how hard I try, so I will have to accept that.
I will be out and about today, so I’ll try and take a few pictures to post. I haven’t tried that yet here on this blog! Oooh…something else new to look forward too…:-) I might even try to upload a video here…or not…

Lots of things going on these days with me trying to get out of the desert. I have just now, right this very moment, made the decision to stay here for now. I just can’t see walking away from things. Too much invested to leave it all and start again. I’m not as young as I think I am at times, so I don’t see how I can ever recover what I would be leaving. So…here I will stay, stuck in the desert.
This decision is always subject to change…or not…

I guess the answer to that will depend on IF I ever grow up, wouldn’t it? Thus far in my life I have been many things and wore many hats, so as I continue on my journey I find myself at yet another crossroad. “Now what?”, seems to be the question I am asking myself a lot lately.
Living in the desert, where I have been for nearly 6 years now, has had many good things about it, mainly being that it has given me the time to get to this point to ask where *I* want to go now that I have reached this fork in the road. Not where someone else in my life wants me to go, but what are my wishes, dreams, and plans that I can’t let go? What do I try next? Where do I move to? How many more steps do I have left? The “should I stay or should I go?” question so eloquently proposed by The Clash long ago.
At this moment in time, I think I will move to the wine country, grow a vineyard, and see where this takes me…or not…

Returning yet again from another little trip away. Yes, I’m looking around places to move to! I miss green being out here with the dirt and rocks. Time to leave the desert and find greener pastures for this old horse to graze upon…
It’s good to not be in any great hurry as I can take my time and find exactly what works for me this time around. I guess that is one perk to being an “oldie but goodie” is that I know what I’m looking for and won’t settle for less. Number one on the list is Sunshine, followed closely by the color green! Come to think of it, it’s best to describe green as the 1a on the list. The rest falls right in line, land, etc. Oh yeah, and it all must cost under $5. I have great faith that I’ll find it, don’t you? 🙂
Many thoughts running through my mind these days, so once I get some rest, I will share them here…or not…

It’s good to see that Marc didn’t change too much on this blog while he was minding the store! Thank you, Marc, for keeping an eye on things for me!
I have returned after a lovely visit with friends for the celebration of their son, Leon’s, first birthday. The hospitality, food, and company made me not want to leave…ever! Ha!
I met Susan ( Tobie2 ) for a quick lunch at my all time favorite Mexican Restaurant. I was wishing I wasn’t driving as the Margarita’s are deliciously “heady” to say the least! She was called away suddenly (work related) but it was great to see her even if it was briefly!
I was then off to the next destination, to visit with some family in the wine country!
I had a lot of fun and thinking of moving…AGAIN…wine or bust?? Time will tell…
